眾所周知,初代iPhone在美國發售時,買家必須使用AT&T的無線電話服務(iPhone 3G也是一樣)。AT&T是出名差的無線電話服務供應商,跟「3」在港的地位可謂不相伯仲。情況好比你到肉店買一塊上好的牛排,肉店說他可以用一個超低價賣給你,但你必須同時用一個很貴的價錢買一塊豬頭骨。實情是,牛排是貴的,豬頭骨是不值錢的,肉店用低價牛排逼你付錢買豬頭骨。

可想而知,iPhone 3G的所謂超低定價US$199是假的。實際的價錢其實遠超此數,各位iPhone的支持者,你們有什麼方法逃避呢?

N96 - My Next Cell Phone

For years I am a big fans of Nokia phones. One year ago I got myself N95 as soon as it first available in Hong Kong. Then, for the whole year, there was no news for any upcoming phone from Nokia that would be better than N95. Tiil this month, Nokia announced N96. I'm sure it will be my next cell phone.

In my opinion, going from N95 to N96 is not as exciting as when I changed my phone from N80 to N95. The best new feature of N96 is DVB-H, something very unlikely we can enjoy in Hong Kong. So, N96 is like N95 with many memory added.

Anyway, it's about time to buy a new phone.
