換電腦

我把自已的電腦升級已有一段時間,還沒在此交待一下。新電腦的配置如下:

• CPU: Intel Q9550 Quad Core, 2.83GHz, 12Mb Cache
• Mother Board: Asus Striker 2 Formula nF780i
• Memory: 4Gb DDR2 1066MHz
• Display Card: Inno3D 9800GT with 512Mb DDR3

Harddisk等不提了,最後值得一記是用了Window Vista x64,再加4Gb memory也不成問題。

由這一部電腦開始,我正式由ATI轉投Nvidia的懷抱,原因是ATI始終是給AMD收購了,這樣下去我有理由相信,以後ATI的產品與Intel 的CPU 和 Chipset的兼容度會愈來愈差,而且我一向對AMD的CPU沒有興趣,改用Nvidia可令他日電腦升級時更順利。

另一有趣的地方是用了Gamer向的主機版。對這點我有一點不滿,難道不玩PC Game就不用運算能力了嗎?剪接或播放高清影片也要大量運算能力啊。
